KsTU Counseling Directorate (KsCD) offers various psycho-social counseling services including preventive counseling, academic counseling, vocational counseling, relationship counseling, grief counseling, behavioural counseling, psychometric assessment, family therapy, psychotherapy, assessment and management of learning disorders, stress management and management of depression, just to mention a few.

Through its virtual and in-person career development activities, the Directorate equips students with information about the trends in the world of work, and general employability skills that intend to help them make a smooth transition from university into entry level positions on the job market. The Directorate collaborates with some partner organizations to roll out some of the Career Development Programmes for the benefit of students. 

Being an internship centre recognized by the Ghana Psychology Council, the Directorate hosts Ghanaian and international students and professional trainees for practicum and internship. 

The Directorate is also instrumental in linking students to industry through internship, national service, full-time and part-time job opportunities.
